Therapeutic Modalities

Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound uses tiny sound waves to stimulate body tissues at a cellular level. It is widely used to promote healing of soft tissue injuries and decrease inflammation. Depending on how it is used, it can also be implemented as a gentle heating modality that helps to increase circulation.

Interfential Current (IFC) Therapy

IFC therapy uses controlled electrical pulses to help decrease pain and muscle spasm. The current is applied through pads that are placed on the surface of the skin. Different settings can be used to address either acute or chronic pain, and the user controls the intensity to make sure that it is a comfortable sensation.
